Historic / Heritage:

The Royal College of Physicians of Ireland, Dublin
(Architects: Scott Tallon Walker)
Refurbishment of the mid-19th century headquartes of RCPI, including new chandelier designs.

STEAM! - Railway Heritage Centre, Swindon.
(Architect: WS Atkins)
(Exhibition Designer: Brennan & Whalley)
Exhibition lighting, public space architectural lighting and building exterior illumination for a new museum space in Swindon, on the site of the old Great Western Railway works.

The Voysey House, Studland

The refurbishment of an Arts & Crafts House and a new build 'pavilion'.

And some for which I had personal responsibility as Design Director at Equation Lighting Design.

BBC Radio Theatre, Broadcasting House, London.

Refurbishment of Grade 1 listed interior, including refurbishment of original lighting fixtures and installation of stage lighting provision above platform.
Sadly, this interior has recently undergone another refurbishment so this lighting scheme is no longer available to view.

The Natural History Museum

Re-lighting of Central Hall facades and decorated ceiling, a listed interior.

Lighting of the crypt chapel, including use of fibre optic lighting concealed within 14th century stone screens.

Tower Bridge Centenary exhibition for City of London
(Designers: Bowes Darby)
Celebrating 100 years of Tower Bridge, the exhibition includes computer programmed lighting scenes, animatronic models, fibre optic displays, and a Peppers Ghost effect.

A 'lifestyle' method of museum display, which required strict compliance with conservation requirements and close control of daylight ingress.

Lighting design of the public malls and atrium spaces for the retail areas of this real-snow ski slope centre.

Blanchardstown Shopping Centre, Dublin for Green Properties
(Architect: A&D Wejchert)
Full lighting design for public malls within the Shopping Centre. Consultancy support to the electrical consultants on external lighting of building and car parks and pedestrian routes.
The central mall has a glazed barrel-vaulted roof spanning some 40m of mall width.

Castle Mall Shopping Centre, Norwich for Friends Provident

Full lighting design for public malls within the Shopping Centre and for the lighting of the Food Court.

County Mall Shopping Centre, Crawley for Friends Provident

A three-storey speciality mall with central atrium space, connecting to the Eldon Square development.

A single height retail area, with a barrel-vaulted roof running across the entire central space.

Exterior lighting of the central facade and feature lighting of signature bronze statue, and interior lighting of main reception spaces.

Exterior and Facade Lighting:

The Wooden Bridge, Guildford
(Client: Guildford Borough Council)
Re-lighting of an important pedestrian bridge across the A3 trunk road that passes close to Guildford town centre, using special LED fittings.

The York Road Subway, Guildford
(Client: Guildford Borough Council)
Special light columns at each end of a pedestrian underpass, designed to indicate the presence of people within the underpass, as a means of inproving the safety of local residents.
