Big and Bold doesn't sound like a downlight to me!

This comes all the way from Connecticut, courtesy of The Western Sun - so it must be true!
According to the style-meisters at The Western Sun, 2015 will see home lighting for the bathroom go far beyond functionality and clients will instead be looking for luxury and a quality design aesthetic. They say:
Big and bold light fixtures create personality
Homeowners are setting all subtleties aside when selecting master bath light fixtures. Unexpected lighting will be a statement piece for the master bath in 2015. From glamorous crystal chandeliers to clusters of hand-blown glass globes or drum pendants made with laser-cut metal, light fixtures are the finishing touch that redefines a master bath's personality and functionality.
And if this means that the ubiquitous downlight is finished in the bathroom, that suits me just fine.
Of course, it may just mean that they have bigger bathrooms in Connecticut - harumph.
