For all those music lovers who already know that the Victorian Gallery in the Dorset County Museum is the best performance space in town . . . great news!
After many years of hoping and believing, it's finally happening; new performance lighting for the Victorian Gallery is going in even as I type these words. We expect it to be all done and working by the end of play tomorrow, so ready for the Autumn/Winter progamme of evening recitals.
LED projectors mounted discreetly at high level will provide the kind of lighting for performers that some of us have been dreaming about. All controlled by a wireless dimming system to keep that all that pesky cabling to a minimum.
