Lighting design continues to intrigue, excite and annoy in almost equal measure. For example, the ways that we use energy for our lighting is under more scrutiny than ever before - but it’s vitally important that we don’t lose the importance of aesthetics in design.

There is no reason why energy-efficient lighting should be less attractive than ‘conventional’ approaches to lighting.

It just makes lighting design that much more important; that’s all.
