Sadly, this version of interior of the BBC Radio Theatre is no longer with us, since the recent major refurbishment to Broadcasting House. Here you see copies of the original Art Deco wall lights complete with blue internal lighting and a ‘sunburst’ effect. The feature wall panels are highlighted using recessed downlighting at high level, and the stage lighting is semi-concealed above the stretched fabric canopy.
