New residents of Sherborne might have been surprised last week to see a second moon in the sky. Of course, us old hands recognised it for what it was - the film makers are back in town.
This time around its for a scene in Wolf Hall, being produced by the BBC and due to be broadcast next year. A wonderful cast, with Mark Rylance as the dangerous Thomas Cromwell, Damien Lewis as a distinctly unportly (though still dangerous) Henry VIII, Claire Foy as Anne Boleyn, Joanne Whalley as Catherine of Aragon - and they're just the headline parts!
But whether the audience will ever appreciate the appearance of a second moon in the sky - ah well, that's a different matter!
